Project Manager

We are working with a leading international consultancy seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Dubai team, working across a portfolio of high-profile global hospitality projects.This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Project Manager who has successfully delivered hotels from inception through to completion and is comfortable taking ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of major hospitality projects, coordinating stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.The successful candidate will be commercially and technically astute, highly organised and capable of working independently in complex project environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of hospitality projects from initial concept through to completion and handover.Take ownership of project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.Develop, monitor and manage project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.Manage project risks, issues, changes and critical path activities.Oversee procurement, logistics and delivery strategies for complex projects.Manage projects involving challenging logistical environments, including remote locations and island developments.Work closely with contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered to the required programme, quality and commercial objectives.Administer and manage projects under FIDIC contracts.Provide clear reporting to senior management and clients.Proactively identify potential issues and implement practical solutions.Operate as a hands-on Project Manager, remaining closely involved in the day-to-day delivery of the project.RequirementsMinimum 8 years' project management experience, ideally 10–15 years.Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related discipline.Proven experience delivering hotel/hospitality projects from start to finish.Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling, with proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar.Strong experience working with FIDIC contracts.Demonstrable experience managing procurement and logistics on complex projects.Experience working on projects in remote, challenging or island locations would be highly advantageous.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and handover.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join an international organisation and work on major hospitality developments across global markets, based from their Dubai office.The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile projects and the opportunity to work within a highly experienced international team.If you are an experienced Project Manager with a strong hotel delivery background and are looking for your next international opportunity, we would be interested in hearing from you.
