The role involves collaborating with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into user stories, manage and prioritize product backlogs, and support end-to-end delivery through UAT coordination, defect management, and testing oversight. The analyst ensures alignment with regulatory requirements while improving processes and operational efficiency, and is expected to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills along with solid expertise in KYC/AML within a fast-paced financial services environment.ResponsibilitiesWork with product owners to groom product feature backlog itemsPlan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the productAssess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategyProvide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user storiesDevelop and communicate testing approach and present plans to stakeholdersCoordinate with release management team on test cycle schedule and testing readinessAnalyse and create test scenarios/scripts for user acceptance and regression testing based on functional specifications and business requirementsLead user acceptance testers in test preparation, planning and execution effortsAssist testers in documentation of test results and ensure the test requirements are metIdentify project risks and defects and develop mitigation plans and workarounds as necessaryAssist in backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user storiesCoordinate with technology partners to resolve defects to ensure proper implementation Work with product owners to groom product feature backlog itemsUpdate and maintain inventory of test scripts developed for each project release and regression testing to ensure alignment with the current system functionalityPartner with technology to develop automated testsCollaborate with DevelopersInvestigate issues, bugs, and feedback as they arisePartner with technology to develop automated testsCollaborate with Software Developers and QA Analysts.Investigate issues, bugs, and feedback as they arise.Prepare reports and analysis.Use test automation frameworks.Provide regular reporting of testing progress and results and status of deliverablesReview testing artifacts developed by QA team and provide feedbackEscalate issues and risks to management as requiredOversee defect managementPerform ad hoc testing, as necessaryParticipate in post-release validation activities.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum QualificationsHave 4+ years professional experience at a large financial institutionHave a 4 year college degree with outstanding academic credentialsHave previous experience with UAT and regression testingHave a knowledge of testing life cycleExperience in Agile Scrum DevelopmentExperience of program co-ordination/administrationExperience of managing projects, or exposure to the end to ended-to-end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycleExperience of working within a structured project management frameworkKnowledge of project management tools and techniquesSubject Matter experience in Client and Party Reference Data management and, including:▪ KYC (Know-your-Client) and AML processes, regulations and technology▪ Client Onboarding Workflow▪ Negative News, Politically Exposed Persons, OFAC/Sanctions screening toolsets and methodologies▪ Financial services regulatory environment, including but not limited to KYC, MIFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank and other regulations that impact traded markets and investment banking businesses▪ Capital markets products and services▪ Derivatives.Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsStrategic ThinkerQuick self-starter, proactive attitude with ability to work in a fast changing environment and with international locationsOrganizational effectiveness – establish relationships, work within an enterpriseDetailed orientated, strong organizational skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communications skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and to report to managementSkill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertivenessStrong prioritization skills to balance key priorities and arrive at decisions to balance cost vs benefitsHave excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleaguesHave the ability to facilitate meetings among stakeholders with diverse points of viewWorks well in undefined situationsIntellectually curious, growth mindsetWhy join Genpact?Be a transformation leader – Work at the cutting edge of AI, automation, and digital innovationMake an impact – Drive change for global enterprises and solve business challenges that matterAccelerate your career – Get hands-on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunitiesWork with the best – Join 140,000+ bold thinkers and problem-solvers who push boundaries every dayThrive in a values-driven culture – Our courage, curiosity, and incisiveness -
