Project Manager

About the role:We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from initiation through closure, driving delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with excellent stakeholder communication to keep scope, schedule, and budget on track.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage software development projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration.Identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior management.Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.Manage project resources, including budget, staffing, and external vendors or contractors.Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive decisions and resolve conflicts.Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and incorporate feedback into future projects.Note: This role is open to Egypt-based candidates only.Required (must-have) Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred.5+ years of experience managing software development projects, ideally within a technology, consulting or product environment.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.Proven track record leading projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation and scoping through to closure and lessons learned.Strong command of project planning tools and methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid), with experience building schedules, budgets, and tracking milestones.Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations, across multiple concurrent projects.Demonstrated ability to identify risks early and drive mitigation plans before they impact delivery.Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with experience reporting status, risks, and issues to sponsors and senior management.Strong facilitation skills, able to run productive meetings and workshops and resolve conflicts constructively.Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Notion, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
