Job Summary:The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing site execution activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, monitoring project progress, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and verifying quantities and payment certificates.Key Responsibilities:1. Site SupervisionProvide daily supervision of the supervising consultant and construction activities on site.Ensure that all structural and architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.2. Execution Monitoring & Schedule ManagementDirect and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.Track project milestones and ensure adherence to the approved project schedule.Prepare and submit periodic progress reports.3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)Conduct site inspections for various construction stages, including reinforcement works, concrete pouring, masonry, and finishing works.Prepare and submit Requests for Inspection (RFIs) to the supervising consultant.Ensure all works comply with approved quality standards and project specifications.Follow-up on corrective actions and quality-related observations.4. Material ManagementVerify that delivered materials comply with approved specifications and project requirements.Supervise material receiving, storage, and handling on site.Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) for consultant approval.Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely material availability.5. Technical Problem SolvingIdentify and resolve technical issues and site challenges in coordination with the technical office and supervising consultant.Provide practical engineering solutions to avoid delays and maintain project continuity.Support decision-making processes related to engineering and construction matters.6. Quantity Survey Verification & Payment CertificatesReview and verify quantity measurements and work progress reported by the site consultant and contractors.Audit contractors' payment applications and interim payment certificates.Ensure quantities are consistent with executed works and comply with the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ).Support cost control and project valuation processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in construction project management and site supervision.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC procedures, and project management practices.Experience working with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.Skills & Competencies:Leadership and team management.Planning and organizational skills.Problem-solving and decision-making.Time management and multitasking.Strong communication and coordination skills.Attention to detail in quantity verification and payment certifications.
