Apply & track with Apply EdgeLondon | £60,000–£80,000 + bonusThere comes a point in a Project Manager’s career where being involved in a project isn’t quite enough. You want to own it.The programme, the client relationship, the site team, the commercial decisions, the difficult conversations when something starts to move off track, and ultimately the handover at the end.GRØ is working confidentially with an established London business operating across workplace fit-out, commercial interiors and refurbishment, with two Project Manager opportunities available as they continue to strengthen their delivery teams. These are hands-on roles for PM's who want genuine responsibility across the full life of a project. You’ll be involved from pre-construction and mobilisation through to live delivery, handover and close-out.That means taking ownership of things such as:Construction programmesSite set-up and mobilisationLong-lead procurementWeekly site and subcontractor meetingsCoordination across design, technical, commercial and construction teamsVariations and change controlValuations and project financesClient, landlord and stakeholder managementPractical completion, defects and close-outIn simple terms, they are looking for someone who knows what is happening across their project, understands where the risks are, and is comfortable taking responsibility when decisions need to be made. The projects vary. Some are highly detailed, client-sensitive schemes where quality, finish and stakeholder management are critical.Others move quickly, with tight programmes, multiple workstreams and a need for clear, decisive project leadership. In both cases, you’ll be working closely with the wider delivery team rather than managing the project from a distance. It’s a good environment for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, visible with clients and genuinely involved in how a project is delivered.Who We’re Looking ForYou’ll ideally already have experience across one or more of:Workplace fit-outCommercial interiorsDesign & BuildCAT A / CAT BCommercial refurbishmentYour title could be Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. The title matters less than the level of responsibility you currently carry. We’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate that they have personally led projects, rather than simply supported them. You should be comfortable with live sites, subcontractors, programmes, procurement and commercial conversations, alongside the client-facing side of the role.A working knowledge of JCT contracts would also be useful. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who stays calm when projects become pressured, communicates clearly and is comfortable making decisions. Why This Is Worth ExploringThere is a good level of autonomy attached to these positions, alongside direct exposure to senior leadership and a genuinely multidisciplinary project environment. For someone coming from a larger or more layered business, it offers the chance to move closer to the decision-making and take broader ownership. For someone already working in a smaller D&B environment, it provides a larger platform, stronger project pipeline and clearer scope for progression.PackageLocation: Central LondonSalary: £60,000-£80,000 depending on experienceBonus: Additional performance-related packageSector: Workplace / commercial fit-out / refurbishmentIf this sounds relevant, apply with your CV or contact GRØ directly for a confidential conversation. We’ll take the time to understand the projects you’ve led, your level of site and commercial responsibility, and what you’re looking for in your next move before discussing the opportunity in more detail.
