We create exceptional private residences, boutique hotels, branded developments, and luxury resorts for clients who understand that meaningful design requires judgement, care, and continuity.We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and with 5+ years’ project management experience in the UK. You will be running multiple projects across the company. Experience working on high-end project either residential, commercial or hospitality with an excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality is a must. The role will also include being part of the senior management team, making sure the studio operates successfully across all projects and meets expected deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral:·       Ensure efficient communication and information flow between the project team ·       Prepare and issue regular report to the stakeholders of the project. ·       Monitor the performance of the Professional Team and Rive Gauche Team·       Ensure Rive Gauche Team meet project milestones and have a sound understanding of the weekly project tasks generally across the studio. Pre-Construction:·       Prepare PEP (Project Execution Plan) including but not limited to:a.     structure and procedure for Project, design and construction. b.     Agree Project reporting and recording procedures.      c.      Establish the roles and responsibilities of the Client, the Professional Team … Project Coordination / Design Management: ·       Manage the development and coordination of the design up to tender stage with the assistance of the project team·       Ensure that information produced by the project team and Rive Gauche are fully coordinated and in line with the employer’s requirements. Finance & Timeline:·       Produce initial budget and programme based on the design intent and employer’s requirements. ·       Manage and update with the support of the Principal team the programme and cost plan through the Pre-Construction StageProcurement & Contract Administration: ·       Prepare procurement strategy in line with the project objective for the project team·       Advise on tendering and contractual procurement options.·       Manage and coordinate the tender process·       Prepare and issue recommendation·       Check applications for payment, Review valuation and issue payment recommendationTender:·       Oversee the tender process with the assistance of the Professional Team which include:a)     Invite potential contractors to prepare and submit tender;b)     Obtain responses to the tender;c)      Compare responses to the tender regarding quality and quantity, unit prices and discounts, cost effectiveness, and manner of performance, as well as regarding work organization and deadlines; ·       Negotiations with contractors and suppliers regarding pricing and the work/delivery schedule.·       Prepare and issue recommendation to the stakeholders. Construction:·       Manage and monitor the development of the Design and project coordination during the construction stage. ·       Manage Rive Gauche team activities in line with the project requirement·       Coordinate and manage the approval of construction information between the project stakeholders. ·       Being proactive in providing solutions to site issues·       Contract Administration activities for consultants and contractors. ·       Manage and monitor all variations and advise on programme and budget implication·       Implement processes to monitor and manage the progress of the project including design, programme, cost and statutory requirements.  ·       Chair site meeting with the project team weekly and produce minutes of meetings·       Produce project report and monitor team performance·       Prepare a handover plan, identifying the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders Studio:·       Ensure projects within the studio are meeting key milestones·       Keep the Head of Project Management informed of the key weekly tasks across the studio and ensure the Rive Gauche Team keep on track in terms of project deliverables·       Ensure project timelines are clearly structured across the studio and understood by the Rive Gauche Team·       Assist the senior management team in ensuring projects are adequately resourced in line with project timelines and deliverables·       Assist more junior staff with project management and technical queries as requiredRequired experience:·       Five years’+ project management experience in the UK. ·       High-end project experience either residential, commercial or hospitality·       Contract values between £1m and £15m·       Refurbishment and new buildings·       Knowledge and understanding of bespoke and high-end finishes Required skills:·       Software skills must include: Excel and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Smartsheet welcome.·       Knowledge of UK building regulations, construction technology, UK planning policies and procurement methods·       This is a client facing role, the candidate should demonstrate good communication, excellent spoken and written English, and organisational skills·       A proactive approach to working (can do attitude), with an ability to take initiative and drive project
