Project Manager (On-Site Role) for Military EventAbout the RoleVibes Events is seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale military event in Liwa, Abu Dhabi on behalf of Capital 360. You will work closely with the Director of Project from mobilisation through to installation, event delivery, and full dismantling. This is a predominantly site-based role requiring strong subcontractor management, physical site presence, and the ability to independently manage all site activities whenever the Director is unavailable. The candidate must be proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex on-site operations safely and to the highest quality standards.Location: Liwa, Abu Dhabi (Remote Site)Client: Capital 360Reporting To: Director of ProjectContract Period: 3 Months (23 September – 23 December)Working Hours: Project-based; evenings and weekends required during critical phasesWhat You'll DoSite Supervision & Programme ManagementMaintain a strong physical presence on site, regularly inspecting ongoing works across all areas rather than operating from the site officeMonitor the project programme and ensure all activities remain on schedule; immediately escalate any delays, resource shortages, or risks to the Director of ProjectOversee daily site activities and ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standardsMonitor works involving grandstands, scaffolding, temporary structures, and other event infrastructure from installation through to dismantlingSubcontractor Coordination & H&SCoordinate with subcontractor Project Managers, suppliers, and stakeholders on mobilisation, manpower, materials, equipment, delivery sequences, and dismantling activitiesProactively follow up with subcontractors on recovery actions, pending works, snags, and critical deliverablesEnsure appropriate Health & Safety measures are followed at all times and immediately escalate any unsafe practices or site conditionsReporting, Snagging & Close-OutAttend daily site coordination meetings and provide a concise daily progress report covering completed works, current progress, delays/risks, critical issues, and next-day activitiesSupport snagging, inspections, testing, handover, and final project close-out following the event on 21 & 22 December 2026Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all security and access-control requirements applicable to the military eventWhat We Are Looking ForProven Project/Site Management experience within large-scale events, temporary structures, exhibitions, or similar site environmentsExperience with grandstands, scaffolding, and temporary structures is strongly preferredAbility to read and understand drawings, layouts, specifications, and project programmesStrong subcontractor management, project planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a sound understanding of site H&S requirementsBilingual – English and Arabic (mandatory); strong daily reporting and communication skillsUAE event/project experience preferred; military, government, or high-security project experience is a significant advantageValid UAE driving licence preferred; must hold valid UAE documents and be available for the full assignment periodSite & Working ConditionsThis is a hands-on, predominantly outdoor role in Liwa. The Project Manager is expected to spend the majority of working hours supervising activities across the site, not from the office.The candidate must be comfortable working outdoors under direct sunlight and challenging weather conditions, with flexibility for extended hours, evenings, and weekends during critical phases.Accommodation and meals would be provided.Strict compliance with H&S, security, confidentiality, and site regulations is mandatory throughout the assignment.
