Design ManagerJob SummaryNAGA Architects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of multiple projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring design excellence throughout all project stages. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to oversee multiple project packages while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign ManagementLead and manage the design delivery of multiple projects and design packages from concept through construction documentation.Ensure all design deliverables meet project objectives, quality standards, client expectations, and programme requirements.Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to deliver integrated and technically sound solutions.Review and approve design submissions to ensure compliance with project briefs, local authority requirements, and company standards.Identify design risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.Project Management & DeliveryTake full ownership of assigned projects and ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and coordination issues.Lead internal and external design coordination meetings.Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Commercial & Contractual ManagementDemonstrate a solid understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of consultancy projects.Support project planning, resource allocation, change management, and variation assessments.Ensure design deliverables align with contractual obligations and project objectives.LeadershipAct as the main point of contact with the client and ensure client satisfaction.Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary design teams.Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.Foster collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.Support the continuous improvement of design management processes and best practices.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Architecture (Mandatory).12–15 years of experience within an architectural or multidisciplinary design consultancy.Proven experience managing multiple projects or design packages simultaneously.Strong architectural design background; previous hands-on design experience is considered an advantage.Solid understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of consultancy projects.Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders.Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Previous experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.SoftwareMandatoryAutoCADRevitMicrosoft Office SuiteBIM 360Primavera P6 or Microsoft ProjectPreferredNavisworksAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
