Apply & track with Apply EdgeProject Manager – Renewable Energy InfrastructureWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects, spanning wind, solar, battery storage, and grid connection works. This is a key role within a growing renewables programme, taking projects from development through construction to operation.The RoleYou will lead project delivery across the full lifecycle, from planning and commercialisation through construction, commissioning, and into operation. Working within a matrix structure, you'll coordinate technical experts, functional leads, and operational stakeholders to keep projects aligned with strategic and governance objectives.Key responsibilities include:Leading procurement of construction contracts, negotiating offtake agreements, and securing project financing, while maintaining strong budget and cost control throughout.Managing planning consents, permits, and statutory approvals, and ensuring ongoing regulatory, environmental, and grid compliance.Acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, regulators, technology suppliers, and community stakeholders.Assessing project risk, preparing investment approval documentation, and overseeing operational handover.Delivering clear, accurate project reporting and contributing lessons learned to improve delivery practice across the wider portfolio.The successful candidate will haveA third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline (Master's an advantage).Approximately 10 years' experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure project delivery, including experience at Project Engineer or Junior Project Manager level within the energy sector.Professional project management certification (PMP or equivalent) desirable.Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in budget control, procurement, and contract management.Familiarity with regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks relevant to energy infrastructure.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.If you're looking at opportunities in the Irish energy industry, reach out to Owen at ProSource for a confidential conversation.
