- VHI healthcareMane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Clonee, Dublin.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong electrical and mechanical data centre background to take ownership of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required client standards.The Role:As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across the data centre environment. You will lead project teams, manage subcontractors and vendors, monitor budgets and programmes, and act as a key point of contact for the client.The role will involve managing projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring that execution plans, safety plans, schedules and commercial controls are in place throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include:Delivering projects safely, on time and within budgetManaging project schedules, milestones and delivery programmesPreparing weekly and monthly progress reportsTracking project completion, schedule performance, baseline variance and costsManaging project registers and maintaining accurate project statusEnsuring compliance with client and company health & safety requirementsManaging subcontractor selection, performance and resourcingCarrying out routine project inspectionsEnsuring work is delivered in line with agreed scope and programmeManaging contract budgets and reporting financial performanceMonitoring subcontractor invoicing against project progressDeveloping and implementing project execution and safe systems of workManaging vendor performance and outsourced supportEnsuring contractual SLA and KPI requirements are achievedActing as the key contact during significant events and technical escalationsLeading and supporting project teams to achieve delivery objectivesCommunicating effectively with clients, employees, subcontractors and stakeholdersMaintaining appropriate project records and documentationTechnical Experience Required:Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within a data centre environment, including:TransformersGenerators & fuel systemsSwitchgearUPS systems & battery banksATS / STS unitsPDU systemsAir Handling Units & chilled water systemsFire alarm and fire suppression systemsYou should also have experience with project upgrades, health & safety risk assessments, control measures and vendor/subcontractor management.What We're Looking For:5+ years' experience in a similar Project Management positionProfessional Project Management or relevant trade qualificationStrong data centre project experienceDetailed understanding of electrical and mechanical critical infrastructureExperience delivering data centre upgrade projectsStrong Health & Safety and risk assessment knowledgeProven vendor and subcontractor management experienceStrong commercial and budget management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong leadership, motivation and influencing skillsAbility to explain complex technical and business issues clearlyComfortable working under pressure and to strict deadlinesWillingness to travel and work abroad when requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to work on a major mission-critical project in Ireland, with significant responsibility across technical, commercial, safety and delivery functions.If you have strong data centre Project Management experience and are ready for your next challenge, Mane Contract Services would like to hear from you.Apply today or contact Mane Contract Services for further information.#ProjectManager #DataCentres #DataCenter #MissionCritical #Construction #Engineering #ElectricalEngineering #MechanicalEngineering #DublinJobs #IrelandJobs #DataCentreJobs #ProjectManagement #ManeContractServices
