We're looking for a Project & Operations Manager to lead our Site capabilities.As our first Project Manager - Operations in Romania/ Hungary, you'll do more than build operations: you'll define them. From setting up site objectives and rollout plans to building the reporting and review trajectory that keep us moving forward, you'll be an important part of the engine behind our Romanian/Hungarian presence.This is a rare chance to build something from the ground up, shape the team, and leave a real mark on yours and Appen`s growth in the local market.Job Requirements：Senior experience/ management profile with experience in AI/ BPO companyExperience building and scaling teams across Europe & people operations managementExperience setting up on-site operations from scratchExperience with AI data annotation/ AI data labelling/ content moderation/ data reviewing/ Trust & Safety etcExperience managing operations within a cost-center environment, with accountability for budget efficiencyStrong inter-personal and communications skills, with a focus on empathy and efficiencyHighly developed expertise in client & stakeholder managementExperience in vendor management and connections with vendors within Appen`s industry scopeHas the ability to work autonomously and to make efficient decisionsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsPassionate about growth and using AI for goodLocated/Willing to work on-site within Romania (Bucharest) / Hungary (Budapest) territoryAdvanced EnglishResponsabilities:Create & coordinate site operation objectives roll out, reporting & review system at site, consistent with company management system to deliver on commitsDeliver timely & complete forecasts for site facilities usage, including the legal related registrations and operations, etc.Manages the Site P&L and facilitates the service contracts performance reporting and intervenes pro-actively to manage risk and escalate if off-planPrepares material for direct supervisor, for customers and internal reviews/audits as neededPro-actively intervenes to escalate riskCollaborate with clientsFacilitate planning and implementation of Corporate Initiatives at Site.
