The company plays a key role in the automotive supply chain through its specialized spacer products. In addition to its core spacer business, Peak Manufacturing serves as a secondary machining source for the automotive industry. Team members contribute directly to high-quality, reliable parts that support transportation and automotive operations nationwide.Role Description This full-time, on-site Project Manager role is based in the Greater Jackson, MI Area. The Project Manager oversees manufacturing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements are met. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with production, logistics, and inspection teams; tracking project progress; managing resources; and resolving issues that could affect delivery schedules. The role also involves communicating with internal stakeholders and customers, monitoring risks, and implementing process improvements to support efficient operations and continuous improvement. The Project Manager is expected to maintain detailed project documentation and support compliance with company and industry standards.QualificationsExperience in project oversight, including Project Management and Expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery and effective coordination.Background in Expeditor responsibilities and Logistics Management to manage material flow, scheduling, and supplier interactions.Knowledge of Inspection processes and quality standards within a manufacturing or automotive environment.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution.Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production setting and adapt to changing priorities.Previous experience in heavy truck, automotive, or industrial manufacturing is beneficial.Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
