Apply & track with Apply EdgeMillwork Recruiting Source is recruiting a Project Manager for an established, locally owned architectural millwork and commercial casework manufacturer in Idaho. With more than 19 years in business and a team of over 50, our client serves contractors across the western United States.This role will manage commercial millwork projects from award through installation and closeout, with an emphasis on larger, more complex work. Projects range from approximately $50,000 to $3–$4 million and include K–12 schools, healthcare facilities, government and military buildings, utility facilities, and other commercial spaces. The scope includes casework, wall paneling, and related architectural millwork.The ideal candidate has direct experience managing commercial millwork or casework projects, communicates well with general contractors and internal teams, and can keep drawings, approvals, production, and installation moving together. An experienced Project Manager who can also support other members of the team would be a strong fit.Key ResponsibilitiesProject OwnershipManage assigned projects from contract award through installation and closeout.Review contract documents, architectural drawings, specifications, scope, and schedules.Coordinate project turnover from estimating and establish clear priorities and milestones.Track budgets, schedules, changes, and outstanding decisions throughout each project.Identify potential issues early and work with the team to resolve them.Client and Contractor CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for general contractors, customers, installation partners, and other project stakeholders.Coordinate submittals, approvals, RFIs, change orders, and project updates.Maintain strong working relationships while setting clear expectations around scope and schedule.Participate in project meetings and visit job sites as needed.Internal CoordinationWork closely with estimating, drafting, purchasing, production, and installation to keep projects moving.Ensure the team has current, approved drawings and information before work proceeds.Coordinate material needs, production timing, deliveries, and installation schedules.Conduct field measurements when appropriate or coordinate them with the installation manager.Installation and CloseoutCoordinate with contracted installers and installation partners across the company’s service area.Confirm site readiness, delivery requirements, and installation schedules.Help resolve field issues and communicate changes to the appropriate teams.Follow projects through punch list completion and closeout.QualificationsProject management experience in commercial architectural millwork, casework, cabinetry, or a closely related field.Experience managing projects involving general contractors, shop drawings, production, and installation.Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications and understand how they affect millwork scope.Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills.Confidence managing multiple projects and coordinating with several departments at once.Experience with larger commercial projects is especially valuable.An interest in sharing knowledge and supporting fellow Project Managers is welcome.Compensation and ScheduleThe salary range is $75,000–$85,000. Benefits include optional medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) with a 2% company match; paid holidays; and negotiable PTO.This is an in-office position with the ability to work from home when personal circumstances require it.
