Project Manager - Remedial $180,000 + Super Core Talent is working on behalf of an established and growing remedial construction contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The business has over 20 years’ experience delivering remedial building services across Greater Sydney, working across residential, multi-residential and commercial properties and civils. Their project portfolio includes concrete remediation, waterproofing, façade restoration, structural rectification, balcony upgrades and commercial works. The Opportunity This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of remedial projects, managing projects from initial planning through to completion. You’ll be responsible for coordinating clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard. Key ResponsibilitiesManage remedial construction projects up to $8M from commencement through to completion.Take ownership of programme, budget, procurement and project delivery.Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Oversee project documentation, variations, progress claims and reporting.Ensure works are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards.Identify and manage project risks, programme delays and commercial issues.Work closely with the site team to ensure quality, safety and productivity targets are achieved.Manage project handover, defects and final completion. Experience RequiredProven experience as a Project Manager within remedial construction.Experience managing projects valued at $1M+, ideally up to $8M.Strong understanding of remedial construction methodologies and processes.Experience across areas such as concrete remediation, waterproofing, façade works, structural rectification or building upgrades.Strong commercial and contractual understanding.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders and competing priorities.Relevant construction qualification highly regarded.
