This individual will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on ground up commercial and industrial tilt up construction. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and multiple project stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.What You'll DoManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completionDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecastingLead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsReview contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change ordersCoordinate procurement and subcontractor buyout activitiesPartner closely with field Superintendents to ensure schedule and quality expectations are achievedMonitor project costs, billing, cash flow, and financial performanceIdentify and proactively resolve project risks and challengesMaintain strong client relationships throughout the life of the projectEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Uprite quality standardsSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts when neededWhat You'll Bring7 or more years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractorProven experience managing ground up commercial construction projectsIndustrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferredExperience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million or largerStrong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project financialsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling softwareBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredPreferred ExperienceIndustrial facilitiesDistribution centersManufacturing facilitiesWarehouse constructionTilt up concrete constructionCommercial officeEducationRetailAbout UsUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
