Project Manager (Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a good background to oversee and deliver real estate projects in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects from design through completion.Role & Responsibilities – Fit-Out & Project Manager (Architectural Background)Lead end-to-end fit-out, renovation, and expansion projects, from architectural design and planning through execution, handover, and final sign-off.Review architectural drawings, technical specifications, layouts, and material selections to ensure design intent aligns with project requirements.Manage all project stages, including space planning, design coordination, procurement, site execution, commissioning, and handover.Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.Oversee on-site activities, monitor construction progress, and ensure all works meet approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.Manage project budgets, cost estimates, material procurement, variations, and contractor payments to maintain commercial control.Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, approvals, and delivery deadlines, proactively resolving delays and operational issues.Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and snagging reviews to ensure all works are completed to the required standard.Manage authority approvals, technical documentation, progress reports, risk registers, and project records throughout the project lifecycle.Oversee testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final handover, ensuring all outstanding items are resolved and verified before project closure.RequirementsDegree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related construction discipline.Proven experience managing complete fit-out or construction projects, ideally in Bahrain, with responsibility from initial design through final handover.Strong architectural and technical knowledge, with the ability to interpret drawings, review specifications, and resolve on-site design and execution challenges.Hands-on experience managing contractors, consultants, suppliers, budgets, procurement, and project timelines.Commercially aware, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.Comfortable working on-site and coordinating directly with technical teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders.Strong documentation, reporting, problem-solving, and risk-management skills.Detail-oriented and accountable, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and delivering projects that are fully completed, inspected, and signed off.Contract Duration: 6 months.
