Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the roleAs Chargeurs Museum Studio (CMS) continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager to contribute to cultural projects in France and internationally.This role combines cultural research, meticulous documentation and project coordination. Initially, a particular focus will be on researching a specific cultural field and preparing accurate, carefully documented lists of artworks and cultural artefacts. Over time, the role will broaden to include more varied project management responsibilities across CMS.Your main responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to support cultural, museum and publishing projects.
- Compile, verify and maintain lists of artworks and cultural artefacts, ensuring accuracy, consistency and clear source references.
- Analyse, cross-check and synthesise research findings into clear notes and supporting documents for project teams.
- Progressively contribute to the planning and coordination of cultural projects across museums, publishing and retail, from initial concepts through to delivery.
- Centralise and share information between project, creative and production teams and external partners.
- Prepare strategic notes, meeting minutes and presentations in French and English.
- Monitor cultural, museum and publishing trends to inform project development and innovation.
- Support CMS’s business development activities, including presentations for tender submissions and group reporting.Occasional international travel will be required.Your profileYou hold a postgraduate degree in art history, museum studies, humanities research, cultural management, business, political science or a related discipline. You combine strong analytical skills with a deep interest in culture and museums.A qualification combining management and culture, such as HEC Paris’s Media, Art & Creation (MAC) programme or an equivalent, would be particularly valued.You have conducted substantial research in a specific cultural field, either academically or professionally. This could include a research dissertation, a specialist study, documentary research or a contribution to an exhibition project.You bring exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to handling complex information. You can verify sources, identify inconsistencies and carefully organise documentation and lists of artworks or cultural artefacts.You have excellent writing and synthesis skills. An outstanding command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for research, document preparation and communication with international stakeholders. Another language would be an advantage.Organised, curious and adaptable, you are keen to develop your versatility in project management and collaborate with a range of teams and partners. You demonstrate discretion, respect for confidentiality and a strong service mindset.
