Project Manager – Design-Build Construction

A nationally recognized design-build contractor specializing in controlled environments is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee technically complex construction projects from planning through completion.This position has full responsibility for project safety, financial performance, scheduling, design coordination, subcontractor management, quality, and client satisfaction.Responsibilities● Manage projects from initial handoff through construction and closeout● Maintain responsibility for project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and profitability● Develop schedules and track procurement, milestones, and deadlines● Coordinate clients, designers, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors● Define scopes of work and oversee subcontractor performance● Review drawings, specifications, and proposed designs● Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates● Identify risks and resolve potential issues before they affect the project● Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards● Travel to project sites as requiredQualifications● Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of construction project management experience, or an associate degree with 6–8 years of related experience● Experience managing commercial, industrial, or technically complex construction projects● Direct responsibility for project profit and loss● Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and subcontractor management● Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications● Strong leadership, client-facing, communication, and problem-solving skills● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore● Cleanroom, life sciences, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech facility experience is preferred● PMP certification is a plus
