Project Manager - Design (Wet Utility )

Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality design standards, procedures and approval requirements. Strong technical knowledge of sewerage, stormwater/drainage, Distribution networks, sewers and other wet-utility networks.Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E) /PMP is an added advantage.Candidates from Design Consultancy with focus on Municipality / Public Utilities projects , National large scale Infra projects will be of great interest.Job Essentials:Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Design) – Wet Utilities / Infrastructure to lead and manage the design delivery of major infrastructure and wet-utilities projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will have strong technical and managerial experience in wet utilities design, together with demonstrated experience in Dubai Municipality requirements, design approvals and authority coordination. The role will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary design activities, ensuring technical quality, compliance with applicable standards, and timely delivery of design packages. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the design of wet utilities and infrastructure projects, from concept through detailed design and construction support. Manage and coordinate design teams comprising civil, utilities and other relevant engineering disciplines. Review and approve design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and technical submissions. Ensure designs comply with Dubai Municipality requirements, applicable UAE standards, project specifications and relevant authority requirements. Coordinate with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities for design reviews, NOCs, approvals and technical clearances. Design Exp in Sewerage networks, Stormwater and drainage systems, Potable water networks, TSE / recycled-water networks, Irrigation networks, Wet-utility infrastructure associated with roads and master developments Review utility corridors, utility layouts, profiles, hydraulic calculations and network capacity requirements.

• Coordinate wet-utility designs with roads, structures, landscape, electrical, mechanical and other infrastructure disciplines. Identify design conflicts and develop technically sound and cost-effective solutions. Manage design deliverables, technical submissions, design schedules and resources. Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines. Provide technical leadership during design development, tendering and construction phases.
• Review and manage design changes, technical queries and requests for information. Participate in design review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities. Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and design team members.
• Ensure appropriate quality-control and design-review procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
