VDA Telkonet, part of GEWISS Group, is a leading company in smart technologies for the hospitality sector, with distinctive expertise in Energy Management Systems and Guest Room Management Systems.Within GEWISS Group — together with companies such as Performance iN Lighting, Beghelli, Tvilight, ThinKNX, Elmet and Dynamo Energies — VDA Telkonet contributes to an industrial ecosystem focused on smart infrastructures (energy, home & building automation, e-mobility, smart lighting).We are looking for people who want to contribute to this growth journey, bringing talent, expertise and passion to a Group that is shaping the future of smarter, safer and more sustainable spaces.Key RequirementsStrong hands-on experience in Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) within hospitality projectsGood understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and system integrationExperience in managing end-to-end project execution for hotels, including design review, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handoverAbility to coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, system integrators, and internal teamsExperience leading project engineers and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete lifecycle of GRMS projects from award to handoverAct as the primary technical and project management contact for customers and stakeholdersPlan, monitor, and control project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resourcesCoordinate GRMS integration with BMS, PMS, IPTV, networking, servers, and cloud-based platformsReview technical designs, ensure system compliance, and oversee testing and commissioning activitiesLead project meetings, mock-ups, site inspections, and progress reviewsManage project documentation, reporting, and customer communicationsProvide technical guidance and training to customers and internal teamsTravel to project sites as requireSkills & QualificatiionsDegree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related fieldStrong project management and leadership skillsGood knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, VLANs, servers, virtualization, and cloud technologies, Putty, SSH, command-line troubleshooting, and basic Linux/Windows server administrationExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management toolsFluent in English (written and spoken)Experience: 7+ years in Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS)
