About Complyance:Complyance builds technology that helps businesses manage e-invoicing and regulatory-compliance workflows. Our Delivery team implements API, ERP, file-based and manual-upload e-invoicing solutions for enterprise customers across the UAE. We're looking for an early-career engineer excited about APIs, enterprise systems and financial technology. About the Role:Complyance is looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager – E-Invoicing Implementations to manage enterprise e-Invoicing implementation projects for customers across the UAE, owning delivery from initiation through planning, execution, UAT, go-live, hypercare, closure and transition to Customer Success and Support.Projects may span multiple legal entities, ERP systems, business units and implementation partners, combining API integrations, manual-upload processes and phased deployments. Based in Dubai, the PM will coordinate customer and internal workstreams, manage risks and governance, and ensure deliverables and milestones are met within approved scope and timeline, remaining accountable to the Director – PMO & Delivery while working closely with customer sponsors. Frequent travel to customer sites may be required for discovery, governance, UAT, recovery and go-live activities. Customer requests affecting scope, commercials or resourcing must be routed through approved governance.Key Responsibilities1. Project Initiation and GovernanceLead formal handover from Sales, reviewing the agreement, SOW, scope and acceptance criteriaPrepare and maintain the Project Charter, Project Management Plan and RACIEstablish objectives, milestones, governance forums and escalation pathsConduct kickoff meetings and set documentation, reporting and change-control standards2. Planning and Schedule ManagementBuild and maintain the integrated project schedule, milestones and resource planCoordinate plans across functional, technical, UAT, product and customer workstreamsTrack progress against baseline, flag slippage early and maintain the critical pathCoordinate implementation waves across entities/ERP systems; plan out-of-hours work in advance3. Scope and Change Control Maintain the approved scope baseline and change-request registerRoute out-of-scope requests through impact assessment and stakeholder approvalPrevent informal requests from becoming unapproved commitmentsMaintain traceability to milestone acceptance; escalate scope disputes4. RAID and Dependency ManagementOwn the Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies log, with an owner, date and status for each itemIdentify dependencies early and track ageing risks and overdue actionsEscalate critical risks through governance; maintain the decision log5. Customer and Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary governance contact for assigned implementationsRun weekly status meetings and prepare executive steering committee materialsCommunicate status, risks and decisions; facilitate timely customer decisionsManage expectations without unapproved commitments; maintain transparent communication6. Cross-Functional Delivery CoordinationCoordinate Functional, Technical, Solution Architecture, UAT, Product, Engineering, Support and Customer Success teamsEnsure deliverables and deadlines are clear; resolve cross-functional blockers and escalate resource conflictsKeep requirements, design, testing and deployment plans aligned7. Project Documentation and ControlsMaintain the project document register (Charter, Plan, RACI, RAID/Decision/Change logs, Status Reports, Steering materials, Acceptance records, Go-Live checklist, Closure Report)Ensure specialist-owned documents are completed by their correct ownersMaintain a complete, auditable project recordNote: Coordinates and governs specialist deliverables but does not independently author or approve requirements, architecture, regulatory interpretations or UAT acceptance.8. UAT CoordinationIntegrate the UAT plan into the project schedule and track prerequisites/dependenciesCoordinate with the Implementation Quality Lead and customer stakeholders; monitor defects and acceptance risks.Escalate defects affecting go-live readiness; ensure formal customer UAT acceptance9. Go-Live and HypercareOwn go-live governance, cutover planning and the formal go/no-go meetingCoordinate production deployment, validation and hypercare meetings/escalationsTrack critical incidents during hypercare and transition issues to Support/Product/Engineering10. Closure and HandoverConfirm deliverables and acceptance criteria are complete; obtain final customer acceptanceClose, transfer or defer outstanding items; complete the Project Closure ReportCoordinate handover to Customer Success and Support, including stakeholder details, documentation, known issues and support arrangements.11. Commercial and Contractual SupportTrack contracted milestones and acceptance evidence; support milestone-invoicing readinessDocument customer-caused delays and maintain evidence for change/extension discussionsEscalate margin, scope or contractual risks; do not negotiate pricing/terms without authorisationRequired Skills and Experience5–10 years of project management experience in enterprise software, ERP, SaaS or integration implementations, from initiation through go-live, hypercare and closureExperience with API-based integration, ERP/finance-system implementations and file-based/manual-upload modelsWorking knowledge of finance, accounting and invoice processesStrong knowledge of project lifecycle, SDLC and delivery governance; demonstrated RAID, change control and executive reporting experienceStrong stakeholder, negotiation and conflict-management skills; excellent written/verbal communicationAbility to operate independently across implementations while following Complyance governance •Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and PM tools; willingness to work UAE business hoursPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT, Business Administration or related disciplinePMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master or similar certificationExperience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or similar ERP platformsExperience in e-invoicing, tax technology, regulatory technology or digital transformationExperience managing strategic UAE/GCC customers or multiple entities/ERP systems in parallelNote: Regulatory interpretations remain subject to confirmation by the designated Functional Lead.Key Performance IndicatorsAchievement of approved milestones and on-time completion of contracted deliverables.Forecast accuracy, schedule control and timely risk/dependency escalation.RAID and decision-log quality; customer action and dependency ageing.Change requests approved before work begins; successful UAT coordination and customer acceptance.Production go-live success and hypercare stability • Documentation quality, steering committee effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction • Successful transition to Customer Success and Support; protection of scope and delivery margin.Role Boundaries:The Project Manager is not independently authorised to: Interpret tax or regulatory requirements or select/approve solution architectureCommit Product or Engineering to unapproved changesApprove customer UAT or change contracted scope, pricing or termsShare customer credentials or sensitive information through unapproved channelsAccept direct changes to employment terms or project allocation from a customerWorking Location, Travel and Contract Model:Based in Dubai; may support multiple implementations per complexity and approved capacity Frequent travel to customer offices across the UAE for discovery, governance, UAT, recovery and go-liveTravel scheduled per delivery needs with reasonable notice; must follow approved contract and company policiesRemains managed by Complyance for allocation, leave, performance and resourcingContract duration, extension and terms confirmed in the final agreement, validated by qualified UAE HR/legal professionals.Definition of Success: The role is successful when implementations are delivered through controlled governance and agreed milestones; risks and scope changes are identified early; stakeholders receive transparent reporting; go-live and hypercare complete successfully; and each project transitions cleanly to Customer Success and Support.
