Apply & track with Apply EdgeFor one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (HIS) to lead the planning, implementation, integration, and delivery of healthcare technology projects across the organization.Key Responsibilities :Lead end-to-end HIS implementation projects, including integrations with EMR, EHR, QMS, IVR, ERP, CRM, insurance, laboratory, radiology, and other systems.Define project scope, deliverables, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery methodologies, and PMO standards.Act as the primary point of contact between business teams, clinical teams, vendors, technology teams, and TIDES.Manage communication and reporting with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.Ensure alignment with healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.Coordinate with HIS vendors and third-party providers to manage deliverables, contracts, SLAs, and performance.Oversee system integrations and interoperability between HIS and internal or external platforms.Ensure the effective implementation of HL7, FHIR, API, and other interoperability standards.Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.Drive change management initiatives for clinical and non-clinical users.Oversee SIT, UAT, go-live readiness, data migration, and system performance validation.Prepare regular project status reports covering progress, risks, issues, KPIs, and key decisions.Conduct steering committee meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.Requirements :Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.7+ years of project management experience.5+ years of experience managing HIS, hospital technology, or healthcare IT projects.PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification is preferred.Strong understanding of at least one HIS platform, such as Cerner, Epic, InterSystems, Oracle Health, or a similar enterprise HIS solution.Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, including clinical operations, billing, insurance, laboratory, and radiology.Experience with HL7, FHIR, API integration, data migration, and system interoperability.Experience managing system integration testing, user acceptance testing, go-live planning, change management, and operational readiness.Experience delivering hospital or multi-facility HIS implementations.Exposure to healthcare digital transformation programs.Experience working in regulated healthcare environments.Knowledge of healthcare standards and frameworks such as NPHIES and HIMSS is preferred.Proven experience managing vendors, implementation partners, and third-party technology providers.
