Project Manager – Interior Design & Fit-Out

Interifix is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Interior Design & Fit-Out who can independently manage projects from initial site visit to final handover.The candidate must have strong UAE fit-out experience and should understand both the technical and commercial side of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site surveys and understand client requirements.Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimates and quotations.Calculate material, labour and subcontractor costs.Manage project budgets, margins and cost control.Source, negotiate and manage suppliers and subcontractors.Handle procurement and ensure materials are delivered on time.Prepare project schedules and manage execution timelines.Coordinate civil, MEP, joinery, flooring, painting, gypsum, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other fit-out works.Read and understand architectural, interior and MEP drawings.Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, vendors and site teams.Manage variations and prepare additional work quotations.Monitor site quality, workmanship and productivity.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and as per approved scope.Manage snagging, testing, final inspection and handover.Maintain proper project documentation and progress reports.Support invoicing, subcontractor bill verification and project commercial closure.Authority & Compliance KnowledgeThe candidate should have practical knowledge of Dubai fit-out regulations and approval processes, including where applicable:Dubai MunicipalityDubai Civil DefenceDubai Development AuthorityTrakheesDEWADeveloper/building management NOCsUAE Fire & Life Safety requirementsFit-out permits, HSE and site safety requirementsRequired ExperienceMinimum 5 years of interior fit-out/project management experience in UAE.Strong preference for UAE/Dubai experience.Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation and quotations.Good understanding of interior, civil and MEP works.Strong vendor and subcontractor management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects independently.Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel and project management tools.UAE driving licence preferred.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a hands-on Project Manager, not only a site coordinator.The person should be able to:Survey → Estimate → Quote → Procure → Manage Vendors → Execute → Control Cost → Manage Client → HandoverThe candidate will be responsible for the overall quality, timeline, profitability and successful completion of each project.
