Project Manager - KSA

Job Summary:Madkour Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Energy Projects to lead and oversee the execution of High-Voltage (HV) Substation and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects in Saudi Arabia, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage HV Substation and OHTL projects throughout the project lifecycle, from mobilization and execution to testing, commissioning, and final handover.Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.Oversee construction activities for HV substations, including civil works, electrical installation, equipment erection, testing, and commissioning.Manage OHTL construction activities, including tower foundations, tower erection, conductor stringing, and associated works.Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure effective project execution.Monitor project progress, costs, and schedule performance, implementing corrective actions when required.Manage project risks, contractual obligations, variations, and potential delays in coordination with the relevant teams.Ensure effective implementation of HSE policies and quality standards across all project activities.Oversee procurement, material delivery, equipment mobilization, and workforce planning.Lead multidisciplinary project teams and ensure effective coordination between engineering, construction, planning, quality, HSE, and commercial functions.Prepare project progress reports, forecasts, and management updates.Ensure timely completion, successful commissioning, and handover of projects in line with contractual commitments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.12+ years of relevant experience in energy, power transmission, or electrical infrastructure projects.Proven experience managing HV Substation and/or OHTL projects, preferably within EPC contractors.Strong understanding of high-voltage substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.Experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and contractual coordination.Familiarity with Saudi electricity-sector requirements and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards is highly preferred.Experience managing clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and project reporting tools.Previous experience in KSA is a must.Valid Iqama - [KSA resident].If interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
