Role SummaryThe Construction Project Manager - Marine is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering marine construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role oversees all phases of project execution, including planning, procurement, resource management, construction activities, stakeholder coordination, and project close-out. The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of marine construction projects in accordance with contractual, technical, and commercial requirementsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and cash flow forecastsCoordinate marine construction activities, including marine infrastructure, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, reclamation, marine piling, and offshore civil worksEnsure compliance with project specifications, company standards, local regulations, and international marine construction best practicesManage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational challengesLead project teams, including engineers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environmentCoordinate procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, marine vessels, and subcontractor resourcesReview and approve project methodologies, work plans, method statements, and construction sequencesEnsure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirementsManage client communications, consultant coordination, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycleAdminister contracts, evaluate variations, manage claims, and support commercial negotiationsIdentify opportunities for value engineering and continuous process improvementConduct regular project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issuesOversee project commissioning, handover, documentation, and successful project close-outRequirementsQualifications, Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineMinimum of 10 years of experience in project management within marine construction environmentsAt least 5 years delivering projects such as ports, harbors, marine piling, dredging, reclamation, or offshore civil worksExperience with contract administration and claims managementProficiency with both Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for planning and controlsProfessional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are considered an advantage
