The role is responsible for fulfilling the survey objectives including EHSQ performance, data quality and profitability. The Project Manager - Operations will act as the primary client interface following the project handover from the Sales and Commercial teams, until survey-end and the completion of project close-out meetings (internal and external). The role will also provide input as required for the Sales and Commercial teams for the purposes of tendering and marketing. Key responsibilities include:Survey Planning & ExecutionUnderstand the contract and the survey parameters, objectives and constraints confirming that the Company can comply or take action to ensure complianceFollow management system to develop plan for acquiring the survey including but not limited to timelines, resources, stakeholders' engagement, identification of critical path in line with the Company EHSQ standardsEnsure that survey plans are developed and maintained in conjunction with key stakeholders including clients, major suppliers etc. Ensure that this communication is maintained throughout the projectFollow survey execution metrics in addition to engaging with the crews daily. Ensure any impediments to production are identified and resolvedVessel Performance & OperationsMonitor and track vessel performance metrics on an ongoing basis, identifying operational inefficiencies, deviations from plan, and areas for improvementParticipate in working groups, technical forums, and cross-functional meetings to address vessel-related issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsEscalate and follow up on recurring vessel performance problems in close coordination with Maritime Managers and offshore teams, ensuring timely resolutionConduct regular vessel visits to assess operational conditions firsthand, engage with onboard crews, and support the resolution of field-level challengesBudget, P&L & Cost OptimizationUnderstand and manage the full financial performance of the survey including budget oversight, P&L tracking, invoicing, reporting, and cashflow managementDrive a culture of cost awareness and continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising safety or data qualityExplore and implement synergies across surveys, vessels, and suppliers to maximize efficiency and reduce duplication of effort or expenditureGenerate and champion ideas for cost optimization, presenting proposals to the Head of Operations and relevant stakeholders for review and approvalIdentify and monitor financial risks and opportunities throughout the survey lifecycle, escalating issues as appropriate and adjusting plans accordinglyClient Engagement & Relationship ManagementAct as the primary client interface from project handover through to survey close-out, ensuring consistent and proactive communication at all stagesOrganize and lead structured client meetings including project kick-off sessions, progress reviews, and close-out meetings ensuring alignment on objectives, performance, and next stepsConduct client visits and site tours as appropriate to strengthen relationships, demonstrate operational transparency, and address concerns in personMaintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, manage expectations, and resolve any operational or contractual issues in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, working in close partnership with internal stakeholders where appropriateStakeholder & Team ManagementFulfill assigned responsibilities as part of the Emergency Response team in line with the Emergency Response Plan and duty list as requiredTravel as appropriate to provide the necessary project leadership at crew level as well as the engagement of clients and suppliers. Ability to travel offshore is mandatoryWho are we looking for?Bachelor or Master's degree with scientific/engineering background or Maritime/Subsea education. Equivalent industry experience maybe considered. 5-8 years experience in managing projects especially those taking place in a maritime context. Industry project management training is preferred. Familiarity with seismic surveys and/or subsea operations. Offshore experience in seismic acquisition and/or subsea operations. Experience managing project financials
