Project Manager (Piling)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for Piling & Deep Foundations to lead the successful delivery of piling and deep foundation projects based in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, site delivery, client and consultant coordination, cost control, commercial support, quality, HSE, and leadership of the site team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.Minimum 7 years’ construction delivery experience, including at least 3 years managing piling/deep foundation projects involving bored and CFA piles.Experience in the UAE or wider GCC.Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based subcontracts, including variations, notices, and interim payment applications.Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, with strong Excel skills.Valid UAE driving license.Strong spoken and written Arabic and English, with excellent client communication skills and the ability to lead multicultural site teams.Experience with Abu Dhabi developers, government entities, or oil & gas projects is a plus.PMP, SOE UAE registration, or equivalent is a plus.Experience in pile testing (PIT, PDA, static load), shoring, or ground improvement is a plus.NEBOSH or IOSH certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project setup, mobilization, execution planning, programming, resource planning and method statements.Manage day-to-day site operations through site engineers, foremen and piling crews.Set and monitor rig production targets and proactively manage programme recovery.Act as the day-to-day interface with main contractors, clients and consultants.Attend progress meetings, manage RFIs, approvals, inspections and project correspondence.Monitor project costs against tender budgets and control site expenditure and plant hire.Identify and document variations, standby and disruption events to support commercial claims.Coordinate concrete, reinforcement, testing, plant hire and other project requirements.Prepare and follow up monthly payment applications through certification and collection.Ensure piling works meet specifications, tolerances and quality requirements.Coordinate PIT, PDA and static load testing, NCR closure and as-built/handover documentation.Lead site HSE activities, including lifting and rig operations, permits, exclusion zones and toolbox talks.Lead, allocate and develop the site team while monitoring performance.
