Project Manager (PMO)

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Project Manager to own delivery execution across our technology teams. You take the prioritized backlog and make delivery happen planning and tracking the work, running the sprint process, keeping Jira clean, coordinating the people, and acting as the tech team's face to business stakeholders.This is a pure project management and delivery role. You are the person who keeps everyone aligned, unblocked, and on schedule, and who represents the technical team's status and constraints clearly to the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery planning & tracking·      Take the prioritized backlog and turn it into an executable sprint / release plan.·      Track progress against timelines, milestones, and commitments; keep delivery on schedule.·      Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively surface slippage early with options.Jira & project tooling management·      Own Jira day to day boards, workflows, sprint setup, ticket hygiene, and accurate status.·      Ensure every task moves through its states cleanly, and nothing stalls silently.·      Maintain dashboards and delivery reports as a single source of truth for status.People & team management·      Coordinate developers and QA across workstreams; manage capacity, allocation, and follow-ups.·      Keep the team unblocked and accountable; drive tasks to completion.·      Run the sprint ceremonies planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Stakeholder communication (tech team's face to business)·      Represent the technical team to business stakeholders communicate delivery status, timelines, and technical constraints in terms the business can act on.·      Manage expectations on scope, timelines, and change; negotiate when capacity is tight.Quality & release·      Ensure testing and release readiness are planned in advance, not left to the last day.·      Coordinate deployments and releases with Engineering and QA.Process & governance·      Establish and continuously improve lightweight delivery processes suited to a fast-moving company.Required Qualifications ·      Strong hands-on experience with Agile and day-to-day Jira management.·      Proven track record coordinating cross-functional teams and managing people to deliver on time.·      Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle enough to hold credible conversations with engineers and QA and to explain constraints to the business.·      Excellent written and verbal communication.Core Skills·      Delivery planning, scheduling, and tracking.·      Jira administration, sprint management, and delivery reporting.·      People and team coordination; driving accountability.·      Risk, dependency, and blocker management.·      Stakeholder management and clear status communication.·      Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.Emotional Intelligence & Behavioural Competencies· A two-way bridge, and a balanced advocate.
