Field AI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. We are building risk-aware, reliable, and field-ready AI systems that address the most complex challenges in robotics, unlocking the full potential of embodied intelligence. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications. We are looking for a Project Manager, Robotics Deployment to keep our field deployments on schedule and on plan. You will build and maintain the project plans for deploying Field AI systems — including drones, quadrupeds, and humanoids — at customer sites, coordinate the engineers and operations staff who execute them, and be the person who knows the status of every workstream at any moment. You'll interface directly with the customer and work alongside Field Application Engineers, hardware and software teams, and operations staff. This is a strong role for someone with a technical foundation who wants to grow into program ownership: you don't need to debug a robot yourself, but you do need to understand what broke, who fixes it, and what it does to the schedule. This role is based in Singapore with occasional international travel. What You'll DoProject Planning & TrackingBuild and maintain project plans for assigned deployments — tasks, owners, dates, dependencies, and readiness criteriaTrack progress against milestones and keep the plan current as conditions change in the fieldMaintain the issue and risk log for each deployment, escalating blockers to the deployment lead with context and optionsPrepare status reports, milestone readouts, and metrics summaries for internal and customer stakeholdersRun recurring project meetings: agendas, notes, decisions, action items, and follow-through to closureDeployment Execution SupportCoordinate the logistics that make a deployment happen — equipment shipments, spares, tooling, site access, badging, safety documentation, and customer schedulingSupport commissioning, field testing, and validation activities on site, capturing results against test plans and acceptance criteriaTriage issues raised in the field: reproduce and document the problem, route it to the right engineering owner, and drive it to resolutionTrack open defects and customer requests through to closure, keeping the customer informed of statusCross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate across Software, Hardware, Robotics, Product, and Customer Success to confirm commitments and surface conflicts earlyKeep the deployment lead and engineering owners aligned on what's due, what's late, and what's at riskCapture customer feedback and deployment learnings in a structured form the product and engineering teams can act onDocumentation & ProcessMaintain deployment playbooks, checklists, standard operating procedures, and post-deployment retrospectivesKeep project documentation and shared workspaces organized, current, and usable by the next person who runs the same deploymentIdentify recurring friction in the deployment process and propose improvementsWhat You BringExperience & Background2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, technical operations, field operations, or a similar role supporting complex technical workExperience running projects with multiple stakeholders and moving dates, in an environment where plans change frequentlyBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Business, or a related fieldStrong Experience in a customer-facing or on-site setting is strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational skills and clear written communication: status updates, meeting notes, and issue write-ups that people actually readComfortable working with planning and tracking tools such as Jira, or MS ProjectAble to hold engineers to commitments without authority over them, and to escalate constructively when that isn't enoughCalm and resourceful in dynamic field conditions, where the schedule meets weather, site access, and hardware realityComfortable working on site in industrial environments, including PPE requirements and site safety protocolsIndustry & Technical KnowledgeEnough technical literacy to follow discussions about robotic systems, sensors, networking, and Linux-based environments, and to summarize them accurately for othersExposure to robotics, autonomous systems, drones, or industrial automation is highly advantageousFamiliarity with industrial customer environments — manufacturing, construction, mining, or energy — is a plusPMP or Scrum certification is a plus, not a requirementBasic scripting or data skills (Python, SQL, spreadsheets beyond the basics) for building status reporting are a plus Compensation and BenefitsWe take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
