Project Manager / Scrum Master – Loan Book Agency PlatformAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead the implementation of our loan book agency platform with a major UAE based bank and support its continued development and operational readiness.This is a broad delivery role requiring someone who can understand our platform in depth, coordinate effectively with banking stakeholders and internal teams, and take ownership of the complete project lifecycle—from planning and development through integration, testing, deployment, and post-launch reliability.The successful candidate will bring structure, accountability, and momentum to several parallel workstreams while ensuring that stakeholders remain aligned and delivery risks are identified and addressed early.Key ResponsibilitiesProject and Implementation Management· Own the end-to-end implementation plan for the loan book agency platform, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and deliverables.· Act as the central coordination point between Bank, other external stakeholders, and our internal product, engineering, operations, compliance, and leadership teams.· Manage implementation activities covering requirements, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-launch support.· Maintain clear project plans, decision logs, risk registers, action trackers, and status reporting.· Ensure that dependencies and blockers are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.· Lead regular project governance and stakeholder meetings, providing concise and transparent progress updates.· Manage changes to scope, priorities, timelines, and requirements through an appropriately controlled process.Scrum and Product Delivery· Serve as Scrum Master for the product and engineering teams.· Work with product owners and business stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear development goals, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.· Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.· Support the team in defining realistic sprint commitments and tracking delivery against agreed goals.· Remove delivery impediments and promote strong ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.· Monitor delivery metrics and use them to improve predictability, quality, and team effectiveness.· Ensure that technical work, defects, security requirements, and operational improvements are appropriately represented in the backlog.Quality Assurance and Testing· Coordinate the overall testing strategy across engineering QA, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, and business testing.· Establish clear test plans, entry and exit criteria, defect-management processes, and release-readiness checks.· Coordinate testing with bank stakeholders and internal business users, ensuring that findings are documented, prioritised, and resolved.· Ensure releases meet agreed functional, security, performance, and reliability standards before deployment.· Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, defects, and final approvals.Deployment, Reliability, and Operational Readiness· Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, go-live preparation, and post-deployment validation.· Ensure that rollback plans, support arrangements, monitoring, documentation, and escalation procedures are in place for every major release.· Work with engineering and operations teams to improve the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the platform.· Track production issues and ensure that incidents, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions are properly managed.· Help establish appropriate service levels, operational metrics, and reporting for the platform.· Coordinate training, handover, and supporting documentation for internal users, clients, and operational teams.Security, Compliance, and Parallel Workstreams· Manage related workstreams required for enterprise and banking readiness, including SOC 2 Type II certification.· Coordinate evidence gathering, control implementation, remediation activities, documentation, and stakeholder reviews for security and compliance initiatives.· Work with internal teams and external advisers or auditors to keep certification programmes on schedule.· Maintain visibility across all parallel initiatives and ensure that shared dependencies, resource constraints, and competing priorities are actively managed.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:· Demonstrable experience managing complex technology implementations, within banking, and enterprise software.· Experience delivering platforms involving integrations, data flows, security requirements, testing, deployment, and multiple stakeholder groups.· Strong practical experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead.· A proven ability to manage senior client stakeholders, technical teams, business users, vendors, and internal leadership.· The ability and willingness to understand the platform at a detailed level and work comfortably within our systems and delivery tools.· Strong knowledge of software-development and release lifecycles, including requirements management, QA, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production support.· Experience coordinating multiple workstreams with overlapping dependencies and deadlines.· Excellent organisation, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.· The confidence to challenge unclear requirements, unrealistic commitments, and unresolved risks constructively.· A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.Preferred Experience· Previous experience working directly with banks or other regulated financial institutions.· Familiarity with loan operations, loan agency, syndicated lending, or related financial products.· Experience with APIs, system integrations, data migration, and cloud-based platforms.· Exposure to SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, information-security controls, audits, or similar compliance programmes.· Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent project and development-management platforms.· Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster, PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe.What Success Looks LikeWithin this role, success means:· The Bank implementation progresses against a clear
