Project Manager / Stream Lead

UPMC Ireland is undertaking a major enterprise transformation programme that will modernise clinical and business processes across its hospital network through the implementation of MEDITECH Expanse, a leading Electronic Health Record platform.As part of this strategic programme, UPMC Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Business Stream, coordinating finance transformation initiatives across its network of private hospitals and clinics. The role will be responsible for driving change across key operational and financial functions including revenue cycle, procurement, pay and bill processes, ensuring alignment, delivery and adoption across multiple finance teams and locations.This role will be instrumental in ensuring that finance processes, systems and teams are successfully prepared for and integrated into the new digital environment. The successful candidate will work across Finance, Operations, Technology and Programme Delivery teams, driving alignment, governance and execution across key finance workstreams.The role has a particular focus on finance transformation activities spanning Revenue Cycle Management, Procure to Pay, Pay and Bill, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and associated financial controls and reporting processes.This is a business facing project management role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, structured delivery and the ability to coordinate complex change across multiple teams and locations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of finance transformation initiatives as part of the wider MEDITECH Expanse implementation programme.Coordinate finance workstreams across UPMC Ireland's hospital network, ensuring alignment of project objectives, timelines and dependencies.Work closely with finance leaders, operational stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners.Develop and manage project plans, governance structures, risks, issues and reporting.Support process redesign and operational readiness activities across core finance functions.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder forums and decision making processes.Ensure effective communication and change management throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project progress, identify risks and drive timely resolution of issues.Provide regular updates to programme leadership and steering committees.Candidate ProfileProven experience leading finance transformation, ERP, business systems or enterprise change programmes involving multiple stakeholders, locations and operational teams.Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams.Good understanding of end to end finance processes, including areas such as Revenue Cycle, Procurement, Billing and Financial Operations.Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.Experience operating within complex, multi site or highly regulated environments.Strong governance, planning and risk management skills.Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential.Previous experience with MEDITECH Expanse or Electronic Health Record programmes would be beneficial but is not required.Why Join UPMC IrelandThis role offers the opportunity to play a key role in one of the most significant transformation programmes currently underway within the Irish healthcare sector.
