Project Manager - Wealth Management Transformation

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Project Manager to lead strategic business and technology initiatives within a leading Insurance Wealth Management business. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong consulting background who combines hands-on Business Analysis expertise with proven project delivery experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for driving complex transformation and migration initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, and ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects across Wealth Management and Insurance functions.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance activities.Proactively identify and resolve project issues, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.Drive project execution independently while maintaining alignment with strategic business goals.Business Analysis & Stakeholder ManagementGather, analyse, and document business requirements from key stakeholders.Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and decision-making forums with senior business leaders.Translate business needs into actionable project deliverables and implementation plans.Ensure clear communication between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.Strategic Planning & Business Case DevelopmentDevelop high-quality business cases, project proposals, and executive-level presentations.Provide strategic recommendations supported by business and financial analysis.Assess business benefits, risks, operating model impacts, and implementation considerations.Transformation & Change ManagementDrive business transformation, platform migration, and process improvement initiatives.Support change adoption activities and ensure business readiness for project implementations.Monitor project outcomes and measure achievement of targeted business benefits.Required Experience & QualificationsEssential5-8 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Transformation delivery.Previous experience within a consulting environment.Proven track record delivering business and technology projects simultaneously.Strong Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.Experience developing business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to work independently and proactively.PreferredExperience within Insurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services.Experience leading migration, transformation, or digital modernization programmes.Exposure to regulatory, operational, or customer-facing transformation initiatives.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.Key CompetenciesStrategic ThinkingExecutive Stakeholder ManagementProject Governance & DeliveryBusiness AnalysisCommercial AcumenProblem SolvingChange ManagementRisk & Dependency ManagementCommunication & Presentation SkillsLeadership and Influencing SkillsDesirable Industry BackgroundInsuranceWealth ManagementFinancial ServicesConsultingLarge-scale Business or Technology TransformationMigration ProgrammesTop 3 Success FactorsStrong consulting-led stakeholder management and influence.Ability to drive both business and technology workstreams independently.Proven delivery of transformation or migration initiatives within regulated financial services environments.
