Project Officer

Contract to 31/12/2026 plus 6 month extension | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid workingLime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator/Officer. In this role you will play a key role in supporting the Program Manager in successfully delivering the Cyber Security and Document Management System (LDMS) projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Program Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities to ensure the successful delivery of the Cyber Security and LDMS projects.Proficiency in project management tools – JIRA and DevOps, or similar platforms such as MS Project or MS Teams Planner.Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking actions to ensure accountabilityIdentify, document, and monitor project risks and issues, escalating them to the Program Manager as required and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.Support the planning and delivery of change initiatives and training sessions to ensure end-users are prepared for the transition to Cyber Security and LDMS Projects.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.About You:Support UAT coordination by scheduling sessions, tracking feedback, and ensuring defects are logged and followed up.Intermediate skills with various Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint etc.)Communicate effectively with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a positive team culture.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.Commitment to workplace equity, diversity, and inclusion, contributing to a culture of respect and collaboration.Why Apply Through Lime Recruitment?Enjoy two pay runs per week without contractor fees.
