Project Planner

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of fully logic-linked, resource-loaded project programmes from concept to handoverEstablish, maintain, and control master schedules, baselines, milestones, and WBSDefine sequencing, dependencies, constraints, and planning assumptions in line with scope and contractsOwn critical path analysis and programme risk management across multiple projectsIndependently assess and challenge project timelines proposed by project teamsMonitor progress, analyze variances, and provide accurate forecast completion datesDevelop and implement recovery, mitigation, and acceleration strategiesConduct schedule impact analysis for variations, scope changes, and design revisionsLead planning input for claims, extensions of time (EOTs), and delay analysisProduce executive-level weekly and monthly planning reportsAct as the planning authority in internal and client progress meetingsCoordinate planning activities across architectural, engineering, and construction disciplinesMentor junior planners and drive planning standardsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of planning data across all projectsCandidate CriteriaBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management7+ years experience in project planning (consultancy or construction)Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)Strong knowledge of CPM, WBS, baseline control, and delay analysisConfident communicator with the ability to challenge unrealistic timelinesProven experience supporting claims and EOTs preferred
