Project Planning Engineer

Are you an experienced Projects Planner / Planning Engineer looking for your next career opportunity?We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Projects Planner to join our Projects / Operations team.The role will be responsible for developing and managing project time plans to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and define project goals, objectives, and detailed schedules.Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure smooth execution.Prepare short- and long-term resource allocation plans.Monitor project progress, risks, milestones, and schedule performance.Identify changes in project scope and support planning adjustments.Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports.Gather actual project data, update schedules, and prepare reliable forecasts.Support Project Managers in Integrated Baseline Review and baseline schedule development.Coordinate client planning activities and respond to customer requirements.Prepare and manage risk assessments for assigned projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning.Experience in Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Electrical, or related project environments.Experience with key clients such as Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC, or similar is preferred.Strong knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Asta Powerproject.Strong reporting, communication, presentation, and coordination skills.Good understanding of engineering principles, budgeting, and project control.Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
