Project Procurement Manager

Job Summary:To manage procurement activities for the power projects (Thermal / Nuclear), ensuring timely sourcing of materials, services, EPC packages in compliance with company policies and project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Developing procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand purchase requirements.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and contractors.Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids commercially, and negotiation.Issuance of purchase orders and contracts in compliance to legal and finance teams.Monitoring procurement costs and ensure adherence to budgetary limits.Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering efforts.Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations.Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and audit trails.Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, vendor performance, and risk assessments.Skills Required:Strong negotiation and analytical skillsKnowledge of SAP or other ERP systemsFamiliarity with procurement regulations and contract managementExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesRequired Experience & Qualification:BE/B Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)10 Years to 15 Years
