Team members join an international environment focused on precision engineering, continuous improvement, and meaningful impact in the hearing health industry.Role Description: The Project Quality Engineer Intern will support quality-related activities for ongoing projects at Sonion Vietnam. This is an on-site internship role based in Thu Đức, working closely with project teams to ensure that quality standards are understood, implemented, and maintained. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in the creation and review of quality documentation, supporting product inspections and testing, collecting and analyzing quality data, and helping to investigate and follow up on non-conformities. The intern will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to internal reports, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to help ensure product reliability and compliance with internal and customer requirements.I. ResponsibilitiesSupporting new and transfer projects and ensure that all applicable deliverables outlined in the Product and Process Development Process of Sonion are executed correctly and timely.Support product introduction and ensure new machines, fixtures, and materials are validated prior to production release.Consulting with internal departments such as Product Development, Product Engineering, Production, Industrialization, Operations QA, Application Engineering and other relevant departments regarding the operation and appearance of new products.Consult with Product Development on technical specifications of the products.Generate process FMEA together with Production Engineering.Capture lessons learned during the project phase and provide feedback to the Product Development department via the FMEA update list for future projects.Generate SQC test plan and supervise the tests until release and internal approvalSupport product qualification at the customer.Provide recommendations with regard to the products.Advising and supporting the project team members.Compliance with policies and procedures within the framework of SBS (Sonion Business System)II. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Education:Required: B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronic EngineeringPreferable: M.Sc. in Engineering2. Professional knowledge of: NPI experience/Reliability Test experience Control Plan, FMEA, Statistical Process Control MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 8D Problem Solving Quality System Auditing Skills People Management & Communication Skills Understand that employees have to perform according to SBS, which was built according to the ISO systemsMust go through the ISO awareness training, which is part of the orientation program for all new hires. Know about the Quality& Environment Policy (what it is about and where it is posted or filed)3. Knowledge of computer servicing: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)4.
