🎨 SENIOR MARINE PAINTER / PAINT SUPERVISOR 🎨🚢 Ship Repair📍 Marseille, France 🇫🇷💰 €40k - €55k base salary (DOE) + Overtime + Bonus🗣️ English RequiredRAW Resourcing is supporting an established marine organisation in Marseille with the appointment of an experienced Senior Marine Painter / Paint Supervisor.We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in blasting, surface preparation, painting and protective coatings within a ship repair environment.No specific painting or coating accreditations are required – practical shipyard experience is what matters.THE ROLEYou will work as part of the shipyard production team carrying out painting, blasting and coating activities across live vessel repair and maintenance projects.Key responsibilities will include:⚓ Carrying out blasting and surface preparation on vessels and marine structures⚓ Applying marine paints and protective coating systems⚓ Preparing steel surfaces to the required standard before coating application⚓ Using blasting, painting and coating equipment safely and effectively⚓ Mixing and preparing paints and coatings for application⚓ Carrying out touch-ups, repairs and recoating works⚓ Working across different areas of vessels during repair and dry-docking projects⚓ Maintaining high standards of workmanship and finish⚓ Following shipyard HSE procedures and safe working practices⚓ Working closely with supervisors and other production teams to meet vessel schedulesTHE PERSONWe are looking for someone with:✅ Strong hands-on marine painting experience✅ Experience blasting and preparing steel surfaces✅ Experience applying marine and protective coating systems✅ Previous experience working within ship repair / shipyard environments✅ Comfortable working on live vessel repair and dry-docking projects✅ Good understanding of safe working practices within a shipyard✅ English language skills✅ Willingness to relocate to or work in Marseille, France
