With a strong presence across both the public and private sectors, we deliver forward-thinking business solutions and consulting services that empower organizations through knowledge and technology.Client of Kafa’at is looking for a Projects Director:Job PurposeThe Projects Director will lead and manage the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring effective planning, timely execution, cost control, quality standards, and compliance with applicable regulations.The role focuses on coordinating project activities, managing risks, and ensuring successful project outcomes in alignment with corporate and engineering objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic oversight of engineering projects to ensure alignment with approved objectives, scope, and priorities.Define and track project outcomes, success criteria, and overall project performance.Lead the execution and implementation of ongoing and new projects, including project planning, tracking, reporting, financial planning, and cost control.Establish project management tools, standards, quality controls, and change control procedures.Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.Provide consolidated project performance reporting to senior management.Coordinate across corporate functions, properties, operators, vendors, and senior management to ensure effective project delivery.Support the development of performance management dashboards and digitization initiatives to improve productivity and process efficiency.Lead project governance activities and ensure transparent execution of identified projects.Develop stakeholder maps and communication plans and drive change management initiatives across the organization.Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, ensuring high performance and compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.Establish performance objectives, monitor KPIs, and provide regular performance feedback.Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, key customers, and relevant government entities. Projects DirectorQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.Master’s degree in Engineering Management or equivalent is preferred.12–14 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.Strong experience in project planning and execution, budgeting and cost management, stakeholder management, and risk management.Strong knowledge of contract and procurement management.Demonstrated capabilities in strategic thinking, change management, team development, and achieving results.
