Projects Engineer - Fitout

Position Title - Projects Engineer – Fitout Job SummaryThe Project Engineer – Fitout is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising interior fitout works to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and monitor fitout projects from commencement to handover.Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to ensure proper implementation.Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.Prepare project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate material procurement and monitor timely delivery to site.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and recommend effective solutions.Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining the project within the approved budget.Verify subcontractor work progress and assist in evaluating payment applications.Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.Ensure all snagging items are rectified prior to project handover.Prepare as-built documentation, operation manuals, and handover documents.Support the Project Manager in overall project planning, execution, and successful delivery.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in interior fitout projects within the UAE.Strong knowledge of fitout construction methods, materials, and finishing works.Experience managing commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, or office fitout projects.Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and safety standards.Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
