Director of Project ManagementPosition OverviewResponsible for the overall planning, organization, execution, and delivery of the company's major projects and cross-departmental project portfolios. Establish a standardized project management system and drive efficient collaboration among product, technology, operations, compliance, marketing, and business teams.This role requires over 20 years of management experience and the ability to manage complex projects within the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital asset industries, ensuring that strategic objectives are realized through high-quality, risk-controlled project execution.Key Responsibilities1. Project Strategy and PlanningFormulate the company's project management strategy, annual project plans, and implementation plans for key projects.Oversee the overall planning of major projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-departmental project portfolios.Determine project priorities, resource allocation, and implementation timelines based on business objectives.Define project goals, key milestones, delivery standards, and performance metrics.2. Project Execution and DeliveryManage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, acceptance, and post-project review.Oversee progress, costs, quality, scope, and resource utilization across multiple projects.Identify critical issues, dependencies, and potential risks in a timely manner and drive their resolution.Ensure key projects are delivered in accordance with established timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.3. Cross-Departmental CollaborationCoordinate with teams such as product, technology, engineering, operations, marketing, finance, legal, and compliance.Establish mechanisms for cross-departmental project collaboration to enhance information transparency and execution efficiency.Facilitate resource coordination, task allocation, and key decision-making for complex projects.Resolve major conflicts and address priority issues arising during project execution.4. Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset Project ManagementOversee projects related to trading platforms, digital asset products, blockchain infrastructure, and associated business lines.Manage projects involving digital asset trading, wallets, payments, custody, DeFi, Web3, and blockchain technology.Adjust project plans in response to the rapidly changing market, technological, and regulatory landscape of the cryptocurrency industry.Ensure that projects involving digital assets comply with the company's risk control and operational requirements.5. Project Management System DevelopmentEstablish and continuously optimize the company's project management policies, processes, and standards. Develop project management methodologies, templates, process standards, and project evaluation mechanisms.Drive the implementation of project management tools and data-driven management systems.Establish project review (post-mortem) mechanisms to capture lessons learned and continuously improve project delivery capabilities.6. Risk and Issue ManagementEstablish mechanisms for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and responding to project risks.Continuously track risks related to technology, operations, compliance, market, resources, and vendors.Develop contingency and alternative plans for major project risks.Implement an escalation process for major project issues and drive the timely resolution of critical problems.7. Team ManagementManage the project management team and relevant project leads.Establish performance management systems for project managers and project teams.Define team work standards, objectives, and execution mechanisms.Cultivate senior project management talent and enhance the organization's overall project delivery capabilities.Foster a project management culture that is efficient, standardized, and results-oriented.8. Project Data and Management ReportingEstablish a system of core metrics covering project schedule, cost, resources, risks, and delivery quality.Regularly analyze the performance of the project portfolio and generate management reports.Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and potential risks during project execution.Provide accurate and timely project management information to support decision-making for major company projects.QualificationsOver 20 years of management experience, including experience in project and team management within large enterprises or rapidly growing companies.Extensive experience in project portfolio management, major project management, and cross-departmental project management.Familiarity with project lifecycle management, project governance, risk management, resource management, and project performance management.In-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency, blockchain, digital asset, or fintech industries.Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and effectively resolve conflicts regarding resources and priorities.Strong capabilities in strategic planning, organizational coordination, problem-solving, and execution management.Experience managing large, cross-functional teams.Ability to drive the successful execution of complex projects within the fast-paced and highly competitive digital asset industry.Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and project leadership skills.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies and tools.Ability to establish standardized and scalable project management systems and processes. Possess strong business acumen and the ability to align project execution with the company's business objectives and strategic planning.
