In 2026, we closed a $30M Series B co-led by Prosus Ventures and Tomales Bay Capital, taking our total funding past $42M.Our voice AI assistant is the product this funding round is built around — and how it sounds, reasons, and responds is defined almost entirely by prompt architecture, not a UI screen.THE OPPORTUNITYYou'll join a small team building a genuinely new discipline: shaping an entire AI personality that has to hold up in production, in Indian languages, at scale. There's no established playbook for this yet — the people doing it today built the skill through months of hands-on iteration, and you'll help write what comes next.WHAT YOU'LL DO- Design and refine the instruction architecture behind Equal's voice assistant's personality and behavior- Learn exactly where the model's capabilities end, and design around that boundary- Own a full persona or behavior spec end-to-end within your first few months- Work closely with a team that's inventing this discipline as it goesWHAT YOU'LL BRING- A genuine aptitude for language and instruction structuring — show us through personal projects, writing, or how you think about LLMs; no formal credential exists for this yet, and we're not expecting one- Comfort with trial-and-error and building your own process- Real curiosity about how people talk, not just how they type- Python is a strong plus, not a requirement, at this stage
