Property Manager

Your New CompanyOur client is a well-established commercial real estate owner and operator with a strong presence across Southern California. They are seeking an experienced Retail Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a flagship regional shopping center totaling approximately 850,000 square feet.This is a highly visible role responsible for maintaining a best-in-class shopping experience while maximizing operational performance, tenant satisfaction, and asset value.Your New RoleAs the Retail Property Manager, you will take ownership of all operational aspects of a high-profile retail destination. Working closely with ownership, leasing, marketing, accounting, and vendors, you will ensure the center operates efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience for retailers and customers alike.Responsibilities Include:Oversee daily operations of an 850,000 SF regional shopping mall.Manage operating budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting.Monitor property performance and identify opportunities to improve NOI.Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local retailers.Ensure tenant compliance with lease obligations and operating requirements.Conduct regular property inspections and maintain exceptional curb appeal.Manage service providers, contracts, and vendor performance.Coordinate capital projects, maintenance initiatives, and tenant improvement projects.Partner with leasing teams on vacant space tours and tenant onboarding.Support marketing events and initiatives designed to drive foot traffic and tenant engagement.Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Respond to operational issues and emergencies as needed.What You'll Need to Succeed5+ years of retail property management experience.Experience managing large shopping centers, lifestyle centers, or regional malls.Strong understanding of budgets, CAM reconciliations, financial reporting, and lease administration.Proven ability to build relationships with tenants, ownership groups, and vendors.Experience managing capital projects and construction activities.Strong knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or similar property management platforms.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.California real estate license preferred.CPM or RPA designation is a plus.What You'll Get in ReturnOpportunity to manage one of Southern Los Angeles' premier retail destinations.Competitive compensation package including bonus potential.Comprehensive healthcare, retirement, and PTO offerings.Stable ownership group with long-term investment strategy.Clear opportunities for career advancement within a growing organization.Apply NowIf you're an experienced Retail Property Manager looking to oversee a landmark shopping center and play a key role in its continued success, we'd love to hear from you.
