The Multi-Site Property Manager will oversee the daily operations and management of high-quality residential properties, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards. The office location will be 3901 Sunnyside Road, Edina, with the manager overseeing additional sites as well.This role is pivotal in maintaining high occupancy rates, managing tenant relations, and optimizing property performance through effective lease administration and maintenance oversight. The Property Manager will coordinate with maintenance teams, conduct regular building inspections, and ensure properties meet safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role involves utilizing property management software such as RealPage to streamline operations, track financials, and maintain accurate records. Ultimately, the Property Manager will contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the real estate portfolio by fostering positive tenant experiences and ensuring regulatory compliance.Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + commissions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, preferably within multifamily housing or real estate.Proficiency with RealPage or similar property management software.Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and lease agreement administration.Experience conducting building inspections and coordinating maintenance activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar professional designation.Experience managing multiple residential communities or a multifamily portfolio.Familiarity with real estate development processes and capital project management.Advanced skills in financial reporting and budget management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage tenant and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of residential properties, including tenant relations and lease administration.Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and other relevant regulations governing residential property management.Conduct regular building inspections to assess maintenance needs and coordinate timely repairs with maintenance staff or contractors.Utilize RealPage to manage lease agreements, track rent payments, and maintain accurate property and tenant records.Collaborate with real estate development teams to support property improvements and capital projects.Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and report financial performance to senior management.Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high tenant satisfaction and retention.Coordinate lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs while ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.Skills:The Property Manager will apply their expertise in multifamily property management daily to ensure properties are well-maintained and operating in accordance with all applicable requirements. Proficiency in RealPage enables efficient lease administration, rent collection, and record-keeping, which are critical for operational success. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws guides the manager in maintaining equitable tenant relations and avoiding legal issues.
