Psychiatrist

Role Description This full-time, on-site Psychiatrist role at خبراء النفس Self Experts in Jeddah focuses on providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with diverse mental health conditions. The Psychiatrist will conduct clinical interviews, perform mental status examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and multidisciplinary care coordination. Daily responsibilities include monitoring treatment progress, adjusting interventions based on clinical outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborating with psychologists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves participating in case discussions, contributing to internal clinical guidelines, educating clients and families about mental health, and upholding ethical and regulatory standards of psychiatric practice.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and Psychiatry, with the ability to integrate medical and psychiatric knowledge in clinical decision-making.Demonstrated expertise in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.Experience or training in Adolescent Psychiatry, with skills in managing mental health conditions in youth and young adults.Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency in Psychiatry; board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry is preferred.Current professional license to practice medicine and psychiatry in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain it.Excellent clinical communication skills, including the ability to build therapeutic alliances with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards.Proficiency in Arabic; working proficiency in English is an asset.
