The platform emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique demands of competitive and high-pressure settings.Role Description This full-time remote Psychologist PSYPACT role focuses on providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological care to athletes and individuals in high-pressure environments across PSYPACT-participating states. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, delivering individual therapy via secure telehealth, and performing ongoing psychological assessments to inform treatment planning. The psychologist will collaborate with peer support providers and medical professionals to ensure integrated, coordinated care, while maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards. Additional duties include participating in case consultations, contributing to program development and outcomes measurement, and supporting crisis response protocols when appropriate. The role requires comfort with virtual care technologies, commitment to culturally responsive practice, and the ability to foster safety, trust, and resilience for clients navigating performance-related and general life challenges.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based approaches in virtual care settings.Proficiency in Counseling skills, including building therapeutic rapport, delivering individual therapy, and supporting clients in high-pressure environments.Experience with Psychological Assessment, including intake evaluations, risk assessments, and ongoing outcome tracking.Familiarity with Medicine and interdisciplinary collaboration, working effectively with psychiatric providers and peer support teams.Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.Active, unrestricted psychologist license in a PSYPACT-participating state and eligibility to practice under PSYPACT.Experience or strong interest in working with athletes, performers, or other high-pressure populations is highly beneficial.Comfort with telehealth platforms, strong documentation skills, and commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
