The Psychology Specialist will conduct psychological assessments and testing, provide individual and group interventions, and support clients with a range of mental health needs. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, developing and implementing treatment or support plans, documenting sessions and outcomes, and collaborating with other professionals to coordinate care. The role also involves educating clients, families, or staff on mental health topics, participating in case discussions, and staying current with best practices in psychology.Qualifications Strong foundation in psychology, including theoretical knowledge and applied practice.Proficiency in psychological testing and assessment methods.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.Experience or training in mental health support, counseling, or therapeutic interventions.Background in education or psychoeducation, with the ability to present information clearly and sensitively.Relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related field; advanced qualifications or licensure are an advantage.Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.Strong ethical judgment, confidentiality practices, and attention to detail in documentation.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage a part-time schedule on-site.
