Through thoughtful human connection and transformative tools, Uji Wellness is here to improve your mental wellbeing.Role DescriptionThis is a remote role for a Psychotherapist; The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing individual and/or couples counseling, facilitating mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and offering relationship counseling. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining detailed records of client progress and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual, couples, or group therapy tailored to client needsDevelop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based modalitiesMaintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standardsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team when appropriateContribute to a professional, respectful, and client-centred practice cultureQualificationsStrong skills in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental HealthExperience in Relationship CounselingKnowledge of Medicine as it relates to mental healthExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a teamMaster’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychotherapist in OntarioExperience in clinical settings is a plusClinical experience preferred but not required for the right fitExperience with modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, or trauma-informed approachesAlignment with ethical, client-centered careAbout Uji WellnessUji is a reflection of adaptability, grounding, and support.
