Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Public Affairs Director at منظمة التميز الزراعي – Agricultural Excellence Organization is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping and communicating the organization’s public policy positions and reputation in the agricultural sector. The role involves leading government and public affairs initiatives, developing and executing public communications strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, media outlets, and partner organizations. Daily tasks include monitoring relevant policy and regulatory developments, drafting and reviewing press releases and public statements, preparing briefing materials, and advising leadership on public affairs issues and opportunities. The Public Affairs Director will coordinate advocacy campaigns, support participation in public forums and industry events (virtual or in-person as needed), and ensure consistent, accurate messaging across all external communication channels.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Government Relations and Governmental Affairs, including policy monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.Strong background in Public Affairs and Media Relations, with the ability to develop and manage communication strategies that support organizational goals.Proficiency in drafting and managing Press Releases and official statements, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.Proven ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Experience in or strong familiarity with the agricultural sector, rural development, or related fields is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.
