We are committed to providing the most qualitative, thoughtful and effective representation for our brands.The PR Executive is a crucial support role within the Fashion PR team, providing support to the senior team across a range of activities including logistics management, reporting, client liaison, media and influencer liaison, supplier sourcing and negotiation, and beyond. The role is multifaceted, including both behind-the-scenes and public-facing aspects, and requires a confident personality with a strong sense of proactivity and personal responsibility.Strong relationships with regional media and influencers, and an in-depth understanding of the regional media landscape are key. An awareness of the global Fashion industries is ideal to provide services and advice with an understanding of the global context for Faux’s portfolio of brands.A previous PR agency experience is beneficial and valued in this role, it is vital that the candidate be an effective fit in terms of having a professional disposition, a proactive approach, and a determination to achieve great results.RESPONSIBILITIES*Liaise daily with clients and the media, and other third parties to execute client strategies and implement planning laid out by the PR Manager and Account Director.*Build and maintain relationships with regional press, influencers and VIP to leverage these networks for the benefit of clients and the agency.*Assist the showroom and admin team in the monitoring of media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for client coverage and to identify pitching opportunities.*Support and offload more senior team members in the representation of the working group’s client list, including:Generation and upkeep of client press kits for the accurate and appealing representation of brands to the pressResearch, create and distribute press releases and media relations content to targeted media in line with the overarching strategy for clientsGeneration of positive news coverage for the clients, meeting monthly and seasonal KPIs, to constantly over-delivering on client expectationsSchedule interviews, features, and/or public appearances for clients as required, in line with guidance provided by the senior PR teamSupport with monthly report compilation and distribution both internally, externallyAttend regular client meetings or calls, compiling and sharing meeting notes and action points.*Project management of client and agency events on a seasonal basis, including venue sourcing, supplier sourcing and negotiation, guest list management and on-the-ground hosting.*Assistance in the planning and management of clients' lookbook and editorial shoots, including but not limited to location sourcing, model casting, preparation of collections in association with the showroom team, logistics support and talent management.*Ability and willingness to work in a flexible professional environment, where working outside of traditional office hours will be required from time to time, to meet strict client deadlines, or to manage the planning/execution/hosting of client events.*Provide proactive recommendations to the extended team for ways to improve efficiency and efficacy within the agency, to constantly improve the department’s performance.QUALIFICATIONS* A first Junior or PR Executive experience, specifically in the Fashion industry is an essential requirement* Arabic speaker is an essential requirement* A media and influencer Fashion network across the GCC is an essential requirement* A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar fields* Appetite and curiosity for the Fashion industry* Excellent command of Microsoft 365* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English* Able to multitask and work on a variety of projects simultaneously* Can produce demand-generation content* Employing creative approaches to engaging with new and existing audiences* Excellent social skills and willing to socialise with potential clients, journalists, and media personalities* Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format* A proactive approach and an outgoing personality.
